This is not your ordinary Christmas Cake. More of an Italian-style torte, it's full of nuts, fruit, chocolate, and booze, of course! Decorated with Christmas ribbon and a Christmassy topping.
It is almost flourless, with a little gluten-free flour to suit everyone (gluten-lovers won't notice the difference). Different nuts can be substituted if a nut allergy arises on your Christmas lunch guest list. Just let us know!
